No Job is TOO Small for the Knolls Ranger!

Ranger at Trader Joe'sGreetings Citizen!  The Knoll’s Ranger here, giving you a happy dose of Bixby banter!

Last Saturday your humble hero (that’s me!) found himself grappling with a different kind of foe, namely the villianous grind of the grocery baggers life with all it’s ancillary demands of expediancy, care, and craft!

That’s right, I found myslef at Troy’s Trader Joe’s at 4121 Atlantic Avenue amongst fine staffers such as Pearl and Larry!  I learned a lesson in double bagging and feasted on all the free sample my cowboy hands could corral (The Pesto Pizza was simply divine!) and even took a second to snag a pic with my fast friends the Duke and Duchess of Bixby Knolls!

With the Duchess

As a Ranger, I rave that the store was spanking clean, the and the products pristine!  The only bit of confusion came when multiple shoppers asked me about my non-existant horse (Note to self:  Must find an equestrian buddy.)

First Friday was a Hootenanny!

Saturday, September 5th, 2009

Howdy Pardners! I had a blast dancing and prancing along Atlantic this Friday.

Folks were out en masse, looking for a good time and finding one in Bixby Knolls – as they sashayed about!

The summer heat took the starch out of my collar so I was glad the Big Red Bus was providing free transportation along the avenue for tired cowpokes like me.

Hey Look! Here I am posing at Pixie Toys with a lunchbox I made there! Fun, and functional! Yee-haw!

I had so much fun celebrating Poly High School’s centennial era with the Jackrabbit, I didn’t have the heart to tell him I went to Wilson : (

By the way, did I tell you I support alternative transportation? This mosaic art car is pretty alternative!

Finally, the guys at Jammin’ Music and I began the long and arduous process of establishing a Knolls Ranger Theme Song.

Welp, there’s lot’s more to write but I’ve got a city to defend!
